Leslie and Sheppard (Bessarion) Neighborhood - Due to the exponential rise in population of the neighborhood, Bayview Villages expects the development of a new community center built at the northwest edge of the area, south of Bessarion Station on the Sheppard subway line. The new community center is expected to be four stories high and will house a pool area, lounge for adults, child care center for community families, a state of the art gym, a walking track, and multipurpose meeting area. The center will also include a Public Library and ample parking for about 196 vehicles.
